The captains seat Gap Cover is designed to cover the open space between the captains seats of your Ford Explorer.

The captains seat Gap Cover is designed to cover the space between the second row captains seats of your Ford Explorer.
This cover is similar to the seat barrier but it has a strong plastic insert between the fabric to create a hard surface. While the captains seats are in the down position, it covers the open space making more room for your furry friend to roam or to give you more cargo space for whatever you're hauling.
This cover is intended for use with our cargo liners and only spans the middle section; it does not cover the entire width of the seats. The Gap Cover lays over the inside edge of both seats around an inch, giving stability and strength for weight pressure. We recommend purchasing this at the same time as your cargo liner so the hook and loop fastening system can be sewn on accordingly to overlap the edges of the captains seats.
